Biscuit Joiner

Post by GeorgeM »

Hi All

Well, now that I've bought it I'm going to check with you all (I always do things backwards :) ). I bought the Biscuit Joiner and now I'd like to have your thoughts on this tool.

Thanks
George

Try it you'll like it. As Mikey says

I use mine and love it it is so much nicer to push the wood into the cutter instead of trying to hold on to a heavy tool to push with.

I've had mine for years. Worked great when I have used; however, I have not used it a whole lot. Still have my original bags of biscuits that I bought with it. Used it for the first time in years about a year ago, and it worked great.

I too have had one for years and have never had an issue with it. It works very well.

It works fine but I find I most often grab a hand held unit when I do projects. It's nice to have just not my go to method most of the time.

I use mine a lot. I also have a DeWalt handheld but I find its performance much less consistent than the Shopsmith. Having the main table for support I get very consistent square placement of each cut even on long boards.

Hi All

Well I ordered it last Thursday, 9/20/2018, just before midnight and I received it yesterday. Excellent service.

I find i use mine mostly when i'm making cutting boards or built up pannels. Can't beat the consistancy and ease of taking narrow pieces to the table vs. a handheld to the piece.
