Managed to be allowed to return to the shop today. It has been an interesting few weeks recovering from my car accident. All the bumps and bruises seem to be healing. The broken ribs are definitely not fun. Learning how not to sneeze or cough has been a challenge but now I am definitely on the mend. Last time I was layed up like this was VN. Seemed to heal faster at 25 as opposed to 66. Hmmm. But I am here talking so it’s a good day !

I broke three ribs riding a dirt bike back in the 70's. It was the worst!

Don't push it, they are fragile until healed.

Glad you are still with us! :D

Feeling quite a bit better. Thanks for all the kind words. We drove to San Diego for the weekend for some R&R at the beach. The drive was not as bad as I expected as far as the ribs go. I have a rifle competition next weekend I think I am going to have to cancel though. I don’t think I can do prone. But all in all glad to be alive. A lady ran a red light and t boned me doing about 55. Air bags win again. Totaled the new truck though. Took out gap insurance and it just payed off in a big way. One of those mortality wake up calls.

There are some good protection policies out there if you look. I have a $1M umbrella policy and the premium is only $241 a year. It covers all liability payments on everything after the primary insurance (home owners, automobile etc.) pays. If someone sues you there is some protection. After all, you never know what might happen as you have seen.
