I have been unable to find the Shopsmith part number for the molder head set screws that hold the ball bearing in place at the SS website. Does anyone know what the part number is or where I can find a replacement? I am missing one and want to make sure I include it with my next order.

Just take one of the ones you have to Home Depot, Lowes or preferably Ace Hardware and buy one. They all should have one.

None of them have the set screw with the flang on the end that cup the steel ball.

Here is the owner's manual for the newest molding head (there are at least two). It shows a part number of 503595.

Thanks Mike that is exactly what I was looking for.

The set screw is an unusual one as it looks like a full dog end with a cup. If you need to use it before getting the correct one from SS you could get a regular fine thread set screw to use in it's place since they have the same end without the full dog length. As John suggested going to the hardware stores with Ace being the best bet on finding one and take the Molder Head with you to test fit it. It is hopefully a standard fine thread and not something else special having different TPI.

I believe it is 3/8-24.
