First Time ShopSmith owner, machine in pieces

I've been wanting a shopsmith for a long time, but could not afford it. And then just the other day A co-worker of mine said "I've got a shopSmith I'll sell you for a hundred bucks." The only catch was he had acquired it from a man who had taken apart the motor because it was having some sort of issue. He didn't know what the issue was he couldn't tell me anything about why the motor was taken apart, but he recommended that I just buy a new motor and presto! Well, I'm too broke for that. The windings look good the bearings seem okay, but I have absolutely no idea how to put this thing back together. Is there any resource that I can get that will show me the tear down procedure and show me how to maybe assemble this motor? I did download the parts list, but it is pretty rudimentary. I'm looking for something like a maintenance bible.

Although this is a Mark VII motor, the basics are the same but the actual parts will vary. Hope it helps!

You may need to guess/think out what goes where since you did not disassemble it.
Ignore the later parts since they are only relevant to a Mark VII.

Before ya put it back together, clean it out.
The usual motor problem is dirt in the centrifuge switch.

Post a picture of your motor pieces so we can figure out which one it is and if all the parts are there. If you're handy it's not too hard to replace bearings and re-assemble a motor.
