Picture Upload Size Still 800x600px?

Are uploads still limited to 800x600 pixels? This bb forum platform seems fairly old. HDs have gotten bigger and cheaper. Should be enough for these needs, just wondered.
For those who want a Photoshop experience,

This was an attempt to 'get' the error message that defines the limits.
It appears to have uploaded successfully at 6000 x 3374?

I'm still getting an error message for size exceeding 2 MB.

Something is reformatting(resizing the displayed images) when output from the forum.
An excellent improvement IMO.
A top size limit makes sense since that is a direct hit on forum storage requirements.

But I think most modern cameras take photos that are much larger than 2MB, so there will still need to be work done to re-size.

Yes Everett, but, it did not reject my 6000 x 3374 image today. It IS less that 2MB. Something
has changed(for the better).

How did you get a picture that large to be under 2MB?

Testing.
Still get this message:
"The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 2050 pixels wide and 1180 pixels high. The submitted image is 4000 pixels wide and 3000 pixels high."
So that is what I'm seeing and this is what it has been for a while now.
BTW when I do mine I also compress then before saving to post here. As an example one I just did was 1.14MB out of the camera and 354KB after using a save quality of 80. As you might expect I never see the size limit come up with the quality set at 80 and most of my pictures here turn out pretty decent.
