mystery accessory

Can anyone help me identify this accessory? SS or no? It's on a Facebook ad for a 10ER, laying on the bench underneath. No other attachments are shown or listed with it.

Not a shopsmith piece. Is that a saw blade on the right end. :eek:

Looks like it. It made me nervous. Still considering the machine though. Has a speed changer with for a decent price.

Cool, At a good price, think of it as buying a speed changer, and everything else is a bonus. :) That's how I got my second 10ER. I wanted a speed changer for my first one, and number two came up for sale locally, $75, and it came with all sorts of extras, jigsaw, mortising jig, dado blades, etc. So #1 got a speed changer and #2 became a dedicated drill press.


You could always take that blade off, :) It could be used to make a jack shaft or to mound a polishing wheel. probably came off an old table saw of some sort.
