We have been communicating by PM since the previous post.
When I first requested address I did not think about which version quill he had. As it turned out, I had old knob and he had new quill(old = single bearing/new = two bearing ).
So in the mean time I have determined a way to accommodate the difference.
I apologize, I did not keep left/right == old/new knob.
First what do they look like:

The knurled part is the same size, but the length and inner od varies.

So to fix length add some 'washers'.

Two are 'standard' bushing hardware washers and are 0.070" thick. One is 'special' and is 0.030" thick(a machine bushing washer).*

Now about the od add a 1 x 1/8 o ring(stretched greatly)

So why all the activity?
The purpose of the two knobs varies.
The old serves to minimize in/out play of the quill shaft.
The new serves to provide proper shaft protrusion.
The new shaft is captive so in/out play in not relevant.
Both however help prevent dust getting to the bearing.
The old quill bearing is 35 mm. The new bearing is 40 mm.
i.e. the quill bore differs so the 'inner od' of the collars is different.
None of the fixes are exact, but are IMO close enough. Low cost parts were used.
The shaft protrusion was 1.200"(new) and 1.210"(old).
So CGLACE, they will be in the mail by Friday!
