Hello,
I want to mount a small metal cutting blade which has a 10mm center hole onto my MarkV. Has anyone come across an arbor for SS that has a 3/8" threaded shaft (and doesn't cost 50 bucks)?
I have an arbor that has a 1/2" threaded shaft which I use for mounting a sanding drum. If I could find another I could probably have it turned and threaded. Does anyone know if the 1/2" shaft is a stock item, if so which item is it?
If it's not clear what I'm looking for then please let me know and I'll try
to explain.

I found another SS 1/2" adapter on a wire wheel and was able to drill out my thin metal saw blade using a 1/2" carbide tipped masonery drill bit so I'ts all good for now.

I hope that you were knot discouraged by the lack of respose that you had: I, for one, just did knot have an answer for you. That is why I did knot respond. I am glad that you were able to satisfy your need. Please tell us what you are going to use the metal cutting blade for.

Just cutting some brass shim stock for hobby use. I had been using
a very thin kerf blade and sandwiching the brass between 3/16 ply. Then I
found this dewalt aluminum blade for one of their battery saws but it had a
a 10mm hole. It's all ready to go but I haven't tried it yet. It probably
won't cut any better than the wood blade but it'll feel less sacrilegious.
If anyone has any good ideas for flatening rolled up shim stock please let me know.

Shopsmith used to sell a metal cutting blade - the old linen style. Occasionally they show up in "the usual places" so it's worth keeping an eye out for one. Alec
