This basswood carving will be mounted on a hickory staff. I am not sure if I will finish it out as a bald or golden eagle.

Here’s a question for you, Randy. I assume that the difference between a golden eagle and a bald eagle would be finish colors. What kind of colored finish do you use that would hold up to long-term use, being held in someone’s hand?

Whatever it is, I think I need to use it to refinish the handrailings in my house!
