I will be receiving a used Shopsmith Air Compressor next week. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to fill a 10 gallon air tank? Any tips you can share on how this works would be appreciated. Looks like the original hose so don't know if I can just use a standard hose and fittings etc.

If I get a chance today, I'll hook mine up and see. I have a 5 gallon air tank, but just doubling the time should get pretty close.

Thanks Tom. Do you run any nail guns off of your tank?
I wanted to use the SS compressor and seperate tank in lieu of a full blown compressor in my shop.
There are tanks you can buy that will hold air for months at the 10/11 gallon level.
How loud is your compressor and does it take a while to come up to pressure?
I'll contact SS to get a copy of the manual too.
