How do you get the old rubber tires off the bandsaw wheels,i have the new urethane bandsaw tires.

When I did mine I put a screwdriver under the tire all the way across the wheel and turned the wheel using the screwdriver to remove the rubber tire. Mine were not glued down very well. I did this on both wheels and then removed them from the saw. I used a wire brush to get the glue off the wheels and in some spots I had to put a little heat on it to soften the glue .

Mine were glued down very well and cracking. I couldn't get them to come off in big pieces. I used a screwdriver for the big stuff I could get then used an electric drill motor with a brass wire wheel. Cleaned up the wheels very nicely. After that, I cleaned the wheels with spirits.
