Can anybody tell me if there is anyplace where I can order parts for my Shopsmith model 610? I bought one (manual not available) yesterday at an auction sale, looked like it could be a lot of fun to use but I'm beginning to think I bought a pig in a poke, I've been surfing all over to find what I need and nothing is helpful. I need a few different parts. Thanks for your help. Dennis Skoog

I assume you mean a 510 and not a 610? Shopsmith Customer Service should be able to help you out.

If someone sold you a SS Mark V model 610, I think that you are right! You did buy a pig-in-a-poke! Luckily, you have all the nice folk here on this forum to help you out with that. With their direction you will soon have a wonderful model 510 to play with. Message #2 shows a scan of a parts list and graphic of the old jigsaw that SS used to make. I don't think it was ever called a 610. I think the info with the scan is wrong. I have one and I don't see where it says it is called a 610 anywhere on it.

I think Skoogie might be mistaken about what his Mark V is since he is missing some of the instruction guides. The person he got it from might not have been sure either as some Mark V's are passed down and the person getting it is not always sure what it actually is.

Not a big deal. Skoogie, just check the SS owner's website to get the correct info on your new older machine. They list all the parts you could ever need for your Mark 510.

As you already know, you are absolutely correct. I assumed that we were discussing a Mark V Model 510. I did not know until three minutes ago that the old jigsaw was a Model 610. Live and learn, you are never too old. Thank you for the education.!

This item is discontinued and they may have no parts left in stock. I think the only way to tell is to call and talk to someone. Good Luck
