Molder Head

I need some help with my SS molder head set screw that holds the ball bearing and knife in place. One of the screws had some thread damage so I ran a die over the threads to clean them up. In doing so I removed the red dot "Substance" that is on each of them. I suspect this keeps the threads tight so they don't loosen with vibration. I am familiar with red and blue Loctite and this is not that. It is a thicker "substance" that is not worn away by taking the screw in and out. I have attached a picture showing the "substance" I am referring to. Does anyone know what it is and where to buy it. Thanks for your help.

I don't know exactly what it is that Shopsmith used but I have used locktite for this application successfully.

You can purchase set screws with a locking substance applied.
