Help identifying part

I got my Mark 7 in yesterday, unboxed it, assembled all of the parts, and packed away all of the accessories. I understand and can find references to every part in the exploded diagrams of the owner's manual, except for these two pieces of what look like extruded aluminum. Can someone help identify these parts and what they're used for?

They are tools (gauges) to be used to align the table rails when you attach them to the tables. If yours came assembled you'll not need them until to for some reason remove the rails. Don't discard them.

Their purpose is to ensure that the rails, when mounted on your tables, are all in exactly the same relationship to the top surface of your tables. If this is not the case, when you move your rip fence across the table tops it will not move smoothly (may even get hung at the joint).

Thanks for the quick response. I'll put them away with the other tools for the unit then.

For anyone else wondering these are for the Mark 7 and Mark V 520 Table Fence Rails.
