Model 7 Lubrication

I have had an upgraded 520 - PowerPro added - and in the 'The ShopSmith Mark 7 Owners Manual" page E-3 maintenance schedule 'Every 10 hours running time' the second bullet says "Lubricate the drive shaft and idler shaft". How? The Mark 5 manual says the bearings are sealed so is there something I am missing? Thanks. Bob

Change "drive' shaft to 'motor' shaft and that would be straight out of a M5 manual. I think that is a 'carry over' and not actually relevant. There is nothing on the M7 idler shaft to lubricate nor the drive shaft.

Thanks - I looked at the two areas and could not see an obvious place to do so (unlike the shieves on the 5). Did not want to mess up a pricy investment. They never seem to wear out - mine is a 1984 model and as good as the day my father bought it.
