Yet another router mount thread: the Bosch-Smith

Been wanting to do this ever since I got this SS up and running after a lengthy crash course in rebuilding. Seems like a bunch of people have done some cool router stuff lately, thought I’d show off my idea. Had this Bosch RA1181 for a while, and hated having to clamp it to my “work bench” (mdf across a couple saw horses....yea I live in a town house and just have a one car stall of a garage to work in).

Works great, and is nice to be able to work at such a comfy height and have another tool in the same footprint of the SS since my space is so limited.

Was planning on using some extra 510 table tubes to mount onto the Bosch and connect it side by side to the main table with the tubes, but decided why go through all that when just using the main table to support the left side works just fine. Would look slick to have a massive table connected together with the tubes though, however this is just so much easier.

That is just outstanding! I am working on a variation of that myself! :)
