My SS is parked between two cars in the garage. I keep everything in some cabinets against the wall or in a cabinet below the SS but everything is crowded. Several years ago I picked up an adjustable hospital bedside table to use as an outfeed table. It was constantly in the way. I finally got around to finding a better solution. Everything is made from whatever was at hand except for the two eyebolts ($10 at Ace) and the tripod from Goodwill ($4). I've seen a lot of these in thrift stores lately .

The outfeed table can be turned around to sit on top of the main table. The runners keep it locked so it doesn't move and it makes a good workspace that won't damage the main table. The tripod folds up and goes in a cabinet. Maybe this will be helpful for others with limited space.

Good idea DB5. Thanks for sharing. I need an outfeed, may use this as inspiration.

A 'typical' outfeed table has grooves for the miter gauge bar to travel into when the bar extends beyond the rear of the saw table.

I do not see them in yours.

There's your answer. This is an atypical outfeed table. Not much typical about it. In fact with the tripod it doesn't move much less typ.

So I have to assume the plane of the outfeed table is at least 5/16"? below the plane of the saw table.
