I have owned a joiner but have been out of WW for a few years and have never used it, With pandemic I have been in my shop again and put the joiner on the mount to check it out. The fence was moving freely so i moved it clear to the left. I tried to move the fence back to the right side, but it is frozen. Soft taps with rubber mallet no help. Ideas?

Sam,
Did the fence maybe lock on you after you slid it to the left? Remember the fence handle both sets the angle of the fence and locks it in place. I am quoting Dennis' quote below from a different thread to describe the dual action nature of the fence handle. My guess is the fence is just locked in place now.
BuckeyeDennis wrote:
The handle is basically a double-sided socket wrench. Push it inward, and it engages one locking nut. Pull it out, and it engages a different locking nut. One of them locks the tilt angle of the fence, and the other locks the quadrant to that rectangular bar. I always forget which is which myself..
