Just a quick question. I don’t have a bandsaw yet and I know I can purchase bandsaw tires on the website but I’m always interested in options. What are the dimensions of the bandsaw wheel? Diameter, width, etc.? Thank you.

All you need to be concerned about is the length of the blade(72±1/2"). Acceptable blade 'width' is 1/8 to 1/2"(5/8 tolerated).

As for tires, if specified for SS that is sufficient(and necessary).

Wheel diameter is 11".

If you are purchasing new tires for your bandsaw wheels, I don't recommend the orange polyurethane ones from Shopsmith. Myself and several others on this forum have had issues with them coming off (see thread below). Some forum members prefer the rubber bandsaw tires and some of us prefer the blue polyurethane ones. If you search eBay for bluemax & Shopsmith you will find the blue polyurethane tires. These don't require any adhesive (friction fit), but if you go with the rubber tires you will need adhesive to attach them to the wheels.
