I like your custom bench top. It's inspiring me. A few months ago I glued a piece of plywood to a piece of foam to make a table protector. I realized quickly that I needed sides, something to hold a magnetic tray, and some kind of soft top material to protect sharp things. I didn't think of the holes in the top of the sides as bit holders before. If I can get ahead of the backlog for a few minutes I'll try to do this.
Also, pretty cool hobby. Miniature clocks were the peak of technology for centuries. I'm always amazed by those mechanisms that are too small for my fat fingers to ever work on.
