New plugin for SketchUp

If anyone's interested, Google's got a Beta available of a new plugin for SketchUp called the SketchUp Web Exporter. It allows you to export a quasi-3D view of a SketchUp model for web display. It's definitely still Beta, but looks like it has neat potential. I was playing around with it today, and after correcting some Javascript errors they had, I got it working half-way decent. I'm also working on a new set of plans for a classic Library Chair/Step Stool. I put together a web page with all the woodworking plans I've completed or working on and added the 3D views of each on there as a link. From now on, instead of posting a separate forum message for each new set of plans, I'll just add it to that existing page. If you'd like to see the Web Exporter output, or see a view of the Library Chair coming soon, click on the "Woodworking Plans" link in my signature below.

That chair looks INTERESTING. I just might build me one.

Thanks Bob, give me a couple more nights to finish the plans. I've got the basic model built (as you can see), all I have to do yet is add all the screw holes and dimensions.

No hurry, I have a couple other things to GET TO first. That was a GREAT idea with putting all the plans on one web site. They won't get lost now.

Good idea, Tom. Nice web site too!
