[quote="JPG"But but but he did not do so in the 'stumped ' video that I was referring to. Why do I think Scott is both in NC and OH?? :D[/quote]
You can take the boy out of Ohio...

As for the time . . . . "Why is there never enough time to do things the right way the first time, but, there is always time to do it over (and over and over. . .)? :D

Keep up the go . . .work!

So ya gonna start a "roots" series for "stumped" omissions? :p ?
By the time I added that forgotten clip to the video I realized it was running way too long so you were correct, I didn’t put the video showing to cut. I guess I can put out a very short edited “Shop Short” vid that covers just the twisted blade. I believe that “Roots” is already a thing...
OK rather than down, go up. i.e. branches. :D

I was 'debating' facts. As for elaborating on the 'feat' of cutting narrow boards that are too long to pass between the blade and the 'post', never mind. I share thy whoopdedo opinion. ;) Only appropriate in a 'pinch'.
(yes that is a pun)

Way back in 2017 I did a video on the "Shopsmith Toolbox", which is the 5/32" hex wrench that we use for most of the settings and conversions on the Shopsmith Mark V and other tools. I've recently been shopping for the latest versions I can find and here they are. Have another to suggest? Leave a comment. Here's the original 2017 video: https://youtu.be/Jd1aduaBvzc

0:00 - Intro
0:48 - Smaller handle T-Handle wrench
1:11 - Economy bent version
1:34 - Adam Savage's favorite ball-end hex driver
2:29 - Klein double-ended wrench
3:20 - An old booboo from using short wrenches

I may be a crusty old curmudgen, but I prefer the 'original' version(L shape, no plastic)

Probably the result of using one for almost 60 years. :D

I noticed it was excluded! Mentioned maybe but no video. ;)

A couple days ago I did score THREE original Shopsmith 4 way bar clamps. 36" long, with the original cast wingnut style handles on the screw end. They are in excellent shape, and the best part was they were FREE to a good home.

Yeah, it was shown in the 1st video covering the "Shopsmith Tool Box"

I'm right there with you on the "original" version (L shape, no plastic), JPG. I'm a machinist, so using a hex wrench without any plasti-dip or handle of any sort is a daily occurrence for me.

Bondhaus is my 1st. choice, Eklind comes in at a close 2nd. Allen brand (at least a standard machine shop or tool and die shop set from MSC); I have found to be way too soft, and round off easily. Whether they are ball nosed or not.

I like this one.

There are a couple of situations there are 5/32 set screws that I can't get to with long one. I keep this one on my power stand.

Yes, it was missing when I purchased this Mark V 520, otherwise it would have been in the mix and would have recieved my support. I not only like that I can use either end, but the fact that it gets a little uncomfortable when the setscrew is tight is a good reminder not to go too crazy! Scott

LUCKY! I love those clamps.
