Maintenance Mark VII

Hello everyone just bought a shopsmith VII thinking it was the same as the mark 7 so I figured if I needed parts I can shop online no big deal welp Big deal I can’t find any parts because the company that made this shop smith went out of business!!!im looking for this part and I’ve been searching everywhere I hope someone may have one!!! The piece on the end popped off and I’m thinking it was held in with some bearings? I don’t know new to the machine!

Is it attached to the hub/is the hub cracked/broken?

The piece I circle popped off which I believe
Was held in by some bearings nothing is cracked or broken .

The 'yoke' with two pins s/b attached to the inner race of the bearing staked onto the end of the hub of the control sheave.
Are you saying that "u" shaped piece is separated from the bearing and the bearing is still tight in the control sheave hub?
A better pix(higher resolution) may provide clues as to how to overcome this.

Yes the u shaped piece has separate bearing are no longer there at all. I left the piece at work I can take a pic tomorrow and show you

News Flash!
Not Good!
The "u" shaped piece is still attached to the bearing inner race.
The bearing outer race is still attached to the control sheave.
The ball bearings are ???????
Hard to tell if there is enough meat left to use the control sheave after removing the bearing outer race.
Removing the "u" shaped piece is questionable.
So 'best' solution is to acquire a 'working' MVII control sheave(not often found).
IIRC the M5/MV control sheave can be machined to match a MVII control sheave(the hub is shorter).
Coming up with a bearing with "u" shaped piece still attached is very unlikely. That will require some machining expertise.
Wish I had better 'news'.

In addition to this question I was wondering what the condition of the speed control cam that interfaces with the control sheave is.
As JPG instructs, it will take some machining.

I’ve had to replace it since it was melted, the new cam should be here on Thur
