Looks like my goldie came missing the table stop plunger. Does anyone have the specifications for this part? I think it's number 155 on the diagram. I think it's 1/4" diameter but has a cutout for a keeper screw to stop it from falling out the bottom of the table saw support under the trunion.

I think it is 152 on the current 'Model 500' parts list. Appears to be available from SS for $4.95, which is their minimum IIUC: https://www.shopsmith.com/service/mark/ ... iagram.htm Correct, it is 1/4", it is also knurled at the end you would be pulling/pushing. I don't have details of the cutaway portion, but presume you are correct there is something like that to retain it. Almost certainly a custom part. I will take it out and get you details if you need me to. I presume though that it is more likely that you need the current PN, 501403, so you can just order one. I'm not aware of any changes to this part over time, mine is slightly older. (If 'Select' doesn't work on that drawing, like it is not for me right now, go to the Parts List and use the Reference Number from the drawing.

The Stop Plunger is 2" long and 1/4" in diameter with the knurled end slightly larger in diameter. It is retained by one of the screws that holds the Tilt Indicator Plate in place.

Awesome, thank you. That's what I am looking for. I'm thinking I might be able to make a replacement, just didn't have the details on the notch. Looks like 3/4" inch down from the top, and an inch notch 1/16" deep.
