Joinery

I have tried a number of joints and settled on mortise and tenon as my joint of choice along with thru dovetails. For some variations on these you might find Roy Underhills work very neat. See him at UNCTV.org web casts Roy only works with hand tools and distains us power folk. Well if I could saw a straight line and plane some rough lumber without my pro planner and a lot more perhaps I could do as he does.

Roy is fun to watch, that is, if you can follow his actions. He is a talented woodworker, if a bit unorganized, but I enjoy watching him.
