It is a "Greenie" and judging by what I can see in the pictures it is either a late "A" headstock or an early "B" headstock. Note it has 6 screws to hold the belt cover on. It appears the rear logo/cover plate has the letters painted black for some reason. I agree with JPG that clearer scans of the article would make interesting reading.

It looks like DOWeaver updated the scanned pics posted before. I can read all of the new images he posted, but it looks the article might continue to page 95 of the issue. Honestly, it doesn't look like much information in the article that was posted. They talk about a filing cabinet being used for storage and the pegboard on the wall but nothing about the Shopsmith. I think only the pictures are of interest from this article.
Just an FYI but there is an archive available from the magazine if anyone really wants a high quality version of the article.
