I suddenly seem to have lost the ability to contact forum members and the ability get a list of forum members. Any one know why. Am I being restricted for some unknown reason

It seems to be working for me, not that that helps you much.

For me the Member list is no longer accessible since the last upgrade and the crackdown on Spam (which has been very successful, I must say).
I suspect moderators might still have access, but not regular members. I do miss that feature, I used it quite often.

To send a PM to a member, find a post that they have made. on the left side of the screen, under their avatar and name, click on the dialog bubble next to "Contact:". that will open a small window with a blue rectangle, click on that and it will take you to private messaging.
I have sent a test PM to you, it seems to have worked.

So you don't see this?

Mine lists only posts and topics. The "Search", "Members", and "the team" aren't available. Perhaps I have some of my preferences set up wrong.

Nope, this is what I see.

I get the same menu choices that Ron does.

In the compose private message page, there is an option to, add recipient, find member. but clicking on it gives this result.

I get the same thing that RPD gets
