I hope I’m in the right area to ask this question. I need a steady rest for long lengths of drill rod that will support pen blanks that I’ve prepared for polishing. I’ve already looked at one that seems to be for larger objects. I need one to support the middle of the rod since it will be about 24” long from chuck to tailstock.
