Not specific to Shopsmith, but I thought this was one of the better videos about jointers I've seen in terms of explaining what they can and cannot do, and how to use them.

Among other things addressed (and the subject of some prior discussions some years ago), is why a jointer can only flatten and square one face and an adjacent edge and why it is that flipping the board over on the jointer (after getting a face or edge jointed) won't give you a co-planar surface on the opposite face or edge.
