Is there a exploded view of the old rip fence from a 81-table saw?

Yes, it's found with all the other exploded drawings on the Parts and Service Page: http://shopsmith.com/service/mark/index.htm

It's in the column for Mark V Model 500 column: http://shopsmith.com/service/mark/500_f ... iagram.htm

Do NOT rearrange the parts (including flat washers etc.).

Something to note here, kgfaro is referring to the original Fence for the Mark 5 or Mark V 500 original table system. There is a newer upgrade fence with a "T" track for the original table system aka 500 and the parts are different. The information given to kgfaro is correct but anyone referencing this thread should be aware of the two fences available for the original table system.

Below is an original Mark V 500 Fence. Although gray in the picture below earlier ones may have green or gold paint to match the older Mark 5's on the Rip Fence Base.
