I have found some fine grit sanding belts 150-400. Could I run through the grits with the sharpening guide on the the belt sander like the strip sander or steel disk? Are 6x48 belts easy to change?
Any comments would be great

Yes you can use the belt sander with the sharpening guide. To change the belts, just release the tension and remove the work table. Slip off the old belt and replace with the new one.

Does the sharpening guide fit on the belt sander table? I can envision a special table that would allow this but I don't see how otherwise.
If anyone is doing this, would you please post a photograph to show me how. I must be missing something here.
Maybe I just answered my own question; are we discussing the Planer/Jointer Knife Sharpening Jig (555471) or the Sharpening Guide (555204)?

Hi Brad, There is no need to change belts. Just install the 150 belt to do the whole job. There is no need to wear down larger grit belts.
