Send that paint out for a night on the town with me and it will get hammered.

I used the Shopsmith dark green paint on a restoration and although not a hammered finish paint it did come out looking good. I just wished I had used a more silver hammered finish paint since the color I used came out a bit too yellowish. I was going for a bit of an antique look.

Is it the light green or the dark green that is closest to the Verde Green? I've spent so much time looking for it, I don't care what it cost!

I don't know if this is still available, but I recall automotive paint specialty retailers would provide any color you wanted in a spray. Been a long time, but I think PPG was the brand I used. The price was a bit high but even the nozzle was excellent.

I think the dark green paint supplied by Shopsmith is the color that is a close match to the Rustoleum Verde Green…or maybe the Rustoleum Verde Green is a close match to the Shopsmith dark green??? Like jpg has pointed out and as the Shopsmith picture indicates, it is not hammered.

I believe a lot of greenie restorations used the rustoleum silver paint as a substitute for the lighter green paint. Seems like there is post somewhere on the forum where special attention was taken to get an exact color match for the original greenie colors.
