I hope it's ok to ask to buy parts or for pointers to sources here! If not, please let me know.

This greenie I just acquired is missing the knurled aluminum collar that fits the end of the quill. I presume I want one else SS wouldn't have installed it originally. SS call it "spindle knob" and the last part number for it appears to be 518204.

Anyone have one they'd like to part with?

Yeah, they don't sell that by itself, you'd have to buy a whole new quill from them. Even on eBay you would probably have to buy a whole quill.

Have to go through my parts. If I have something I'll PM you about it. As a new member you may not be able to respond by PM but we'll work something out.

It will sit in the Outbox until the recipient reads it. After they read it the first time, it will be in the Sent box. PM's should work for you and sounds like it is.

Another new member had a problem sending PMs right away. Maybe an admin has to set up permission.
