More lower viewer ship photos from Flickr about to go bye-bye. I think at least the information has been posted here before minus the photos of which only 55 people have looked at. These are some of the older ones dating back to 2006 so I think they moved from the yahoo area to this area...
So enjoy or skip it's up to you.

I think these had even fewer views but they have come in handy a few times and they are cheap to build... all hardware I already had in my shop.

This idea was so simple but I struggled for a long while before it came to me. To me this is one of the greats of my solutions. It may take you a few moments to understand it but when you do you will see just how handy this can be!
Sorry to see this one go but the clearing out goes on at Flickr.

This is it for the feather board posts. The next couple of pictures show how it works. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Ed,
You have been most helpful with your photo collections over the years.
I was just looking back at your photos of the old OPR set up earlier today. Another question answered
Thanks for all the effort, it is appreciated!

Ed,
I am amazed and appreciative of all the jigs and fixtures you have presented in word and photo for the SS. It would sure be nice if they could be offered on a single disc somehow.

Another clever solution! Woodworking jigs are results of the old adage; Necessity is the mother of invention. This forum and it's members are great! The sponser is pretty nice too.

Was wondering if on the horizontal/vertical feather board if you used a toilet bolt? Any help with hardware would be appreciated?
Thanks

Hi,
I'd say if it is brass then it was more then likely toilet bolts how ever this same looking hardware is also sold for making jigs and fixtures. In some cases there are carriage bolts used as well as slotted screws. Truth be told almost any hardware can be used so long as the head height is minimal.

Ed,
thanks for the posts. guessing the purpose of that last jig took me a while (yeah, I can be real slow sometimes) until it finally sunk in that you had mounted it to a floating or extension table. nice!
I was just thinking yesterday that several of the things that I wanted to try would benefit from a T-track in the extension tables. this is a nice solution to that lack.
