SHAKER PEG HANDLE'S

I would guess that many of us have at least one set of small diamond detail files in our box of tools. They are always use full for shaping small deatil and that final touch. But I have always dislike the sinny handles, they slip and ture in my hands. And with old hands they can be hard to hold on to firmly. This was my solution and I am very happy with it. They only thing I would do different is next time I will make the hole a 11/4" deeper in the ped to shorten the over all length.

Love it! Did you turn the pegs, or buy them?

No I got the pegs from Woodcraft. They were for a for a projet I did for a friend and had these left over. I have a couple of walnut pegs I found in a box in the shop. I am going to put a small detail carving blade in one and give it a try.
