Walnut Carving

Carved from a 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 8" cut off of a old walnut table leg. My wife calls it the Christmas lady.

I've always had an interest in wood carving but haven't known anyone who does it. If you get a chance, could you post a picture of some of the carving tools you used to do that figure. Do you have a ballpark number for how many hours it took to complete the Christmas Lady?
