Thanks! Going in a late-model MGB with the overdrive transmission, hence the switch

I made some years ago for my old Chevy 4x4 truck. I no longer have the truck so I can't get pictures of the knobs I made.

I was hoping that switch was the button for the ejector seat. Nice work, anyway.

Man, I have fantasized about doing something like that for years. Great work there!

Arming/Firing switch would be cool too. 5 or 6 years since I had a vehicle with a standard transmission but I'm tempted to go find one now just to make a knob like that for it.

I had one of those as well. Fortunately, I never had to ride in the back seat... but I did feel the person who did.

I can see this being a hit in terms of usability. I'm not sure why, but I'd rather have a completely separate door for loading kids or groceries into the back seat than the suicide style. I would frequently forget that they opened and end up stacking things in the passenger seat.
