My Wife and I just completed a spice rack for the kitchen. She does the carving and I do the sawing.

I'm very impressed with your wife's carving skills! What sort of tools does she use? Personally, I'd have to have a CNC router to carve lettering like that.

She does all her carving with hand tools. She has put together a nice collection of tools to do pretty much any size and type of carving she wants.

Looks great- these organization type projects can really make a a difference. I'm always looking at our drawer dividers and thinking about doing some custom inserts that actually fit the drawers we have.
We have about 4 cabinet shelves (10x14") of spices at the moment, so I think I'll leave that one alone
