Post by Chad »

My Growth Rings with Scott Markwood

SHOP NOTES: Every time I set my Shopsmith Mark V into a new mode I always perform the 5-Point Safety Check (+1 when sawing):
1.) Set the table angle and lock the table in place.
2.) Lock the carriage.
3.) Set the table height and lock it in place.
4.) Lock the headstock lock.
5.) Lock the quill lock.
+1) Install the upper saw guard when making through cuts.
