It's a nice balmy 63 degrees here this afternoon, but light snow and 40s is forecast for Monday and Tuesday. Then, back to the 60s by Thursday if they are right.

We had a pretty nice week outside of the rain. Temps in the 50s and 60s. Down to 10° and snowing just a few days before. Our real spring starts sometime in the first week of June when it stops raining and only lasts a day or two before the heat and humidity of summer starts up.

On a side note, I found out a few years ago that the seasons do not have universally recognized start and end dates, They are often associated with solstices and equinoxes but the season start and end dates are not well established meteorological concepts. The season starts and ends are based on traditions that vary around the world. As a simple example, many consider Memorial Day to be the start of summer and Labor Day the end independent of what it says on traditional calendars.
