I need help with Shopsmith Power Stations

I've been helping a widow that lives an hour north of me get her dead husband's Shopsmith equipment (quite a good collection of tools) in good running condition, and ready to sell. My only problem left is there are 2 Shopsmith Power Stations. They have been sitting, unused, in a unheated garage in midwest (Lima) Ohio since 1995!
The belts were stuck to the sheaves and pulleys, and so frozen in the shape they've been sitting in for about 27 years. It took a lot of mussel, and some loosing of my religion to get them to finally turn by hand. They will now move under power, but basically want to shake themselves apart.
Are new belts the only option to get them to run like new again?
Thanks in advance. -Chad
