A Time Capsule Behind the Mirror

Some years ago I refinished a sheet-music cabinet stand. Had several open slots for the sheet-music. The top was crowned with a small oval beveled mirror.
Removing the wooden plate behind the mirror, I found a time capsule from May of 1912. Newspaper, folded and inserted behind the mirror to prevent rattling.
The Titanic had sunk the previous month. Teddy Roosevelt was headed for the Convention. A washing machine could be had for $15.50, and a vacuum cleaner for $3.50.
Newspaper was, I think, the Pittsburgh Sunday Dispatch, but not sure.
This woodworking thing of ours rewards us in many ways.
