Update on Shopsmith 75th Anniversary Celebration – postponed until Spring, 2023
I had a call with Mark Adams from Shopsmith, Inc. last week regarding status of the planned 75th anniversary event in Dayton for October. Mark informed me that due to significant time loss from COVID infections to key staff, continuing extra effort to manage supply shortages, and some other internal projects, the team at Shopsmith is asking that the 75th anniversary event be postponed to early Spring, 2023.
I’ll revisit this in the Fall to see if we can get a new event date nailed down at that time, and we can restart the planning. Thanks for everyone’s patience with this effort, and enjoy the rest of your summer.
