Shopsmith SPT Dust Cover Question

Hi guys,
This question is a bit off the wall, but I'll ask it anyway.
I was eyeing up the SPT dust cover sale and wondering if anyone has adapted one of the currently available dust covers to use on the old style jig saw. I tried my jointer cover (too small), planer cover (wrong shape) Mk V cover (way too big). -- This is starting to sound like Goldielocks and the 3 Bears.
I was wondering if the dust cover for the newer scroll saws or maybe the one for the strip sander might fit the old jig saw.
If not, I guess I could go with the Power Station dust cover and convince the wife to do some custom tailoring for me.
So, if anybody has been down this road already I would like to hear how you made out.
Thanks,
Dennis
