This is a FYI posting.

My newest Rockler catalog arrived yesterday and my end of the day reading was looking at the catalog where I noticed on page 5 an item listed as "NEW" and is a 17 piece universal t-track kit.

When I saw the universal I thought of previous postings here and thought some of the experts in the subject might like to see this item.

BTW it is on sale right now for $19.99

Hi everyone,

As Ed pointed out the 17 piece T-track Set is listed as "new". For those who may have purchased the "old" 17 piece T-track Set from Rockler sometime in the past, the difference is in the track itself - The "old" track was 3/4" w x 1/2" deep and accepted 5/16" T-bolts. The "new" universal track is 3/4" w x 3/8" deep and accepts both 5/16" and 1/4" T-bolts and 1/4" hex bolts.

The new universal T-track sounds like a nice improvement - the only problem might be if you are trying to match it up with a section of the old style Rockler T-track on an existing jig or work surface. Just something to keep in the back of your mind if you (like me) are already using the old style track. :)

Best regards to all,

Dennis
