Released in 2009 by Bridge City. Original price $2500 and not for sale to the general public.

I must wonder - who would buy a tool like that at that price and would it be used or placed in a trophy case?.

I have not paid much more than $8000 for all power tools I ever owned. A significant chunk of that came from a new PowerPro upgrade kit, somewhere around $1500 at the time IIRC. I have pinched pennies on tools most of my life, but that has allowed me to splurge a little over the past couple of years. I'm just starting to pinch my pennies again because of outrageous inflation.

that price is way out of my league ,, I use to think a pattern makers vise was pricey .
