Vintage Magna Accessory Mystery

Made a vintage Magna accessory acquisition this week, and was getting ready to post it to my “Share Your Magna Memorabilia” thread:
. Nothing too amazing… it’s a follow up to an earlier post featuring a similar cut-off wheel accessory with a part number from the original 10-E/10-ER numbering scheme:
. I figured the packaging sleeve was changed to green when the part number scheme was updated to the “12-xxx” style numbers. Since I like referencing these accessories with their original catalog appearance, I also pulled a couple of my vintage catalog sheets that showed the cut-off wheel with both the “old” and “new” part number schemes:
. But this is where the mystery begins: the part number of the cut-off wheel I acquired (12-284) doesn’t actually match the cut-off wheel part number in any Magna/Yuba catalog or dealer order sheet that i have access to. In the catalogs and dealer order sheets, the cut-off wheel is part number 12-067… always:
. …and part number 12-284 does not appear in any of them!
Any of you Shopsmith history buffs out there have any other references that may shed some light on this?? Thanks in advance.
