Plant Stand Another honey-do project

It seems when one honey-do project is completed two more appear in its place.

Very nice. How did you construct the skirt?
1985 Mark V upgraded to 520 PowerPro. Shopsmith cast iron table bandsaw, jointer, belt sander, and 60's vintage 610 jigsaw SPT's. Makita 2040 15" planer, JessEm Mast-R-Lift II router table.

The skirt was constructed by gluing two 3/4 plywood sheets and using the ss band saw circle jig to cut the skirt base then gluing on a veneer strip.
The top is a solid piece of 4 quarter Butternut that was holowed using a SS over arm router.the outside edge was formed using a SS shaper and the inside of the lip was hand formed using various hand tools rasp, gouge ect. note Butternut is easy to carve/shape by hand.
