I know this has been covered before, but I think it is enjoyable enough to be brought up again. This is a series of articles by a gentleman named Saul Isler and they are very entertaining. Especially episode #6 titled "Buying a 5-tools-in-one machine". Mr. Isler narrates his comical introduction to a ShopSmith. It is at the Fine Woodworking online magazine site...

Thanks for reminding me of this one. I laugh because it was much like my first days with a new SS. Like Bill Cosby, he just reflects our own actions and we laugh.

Three qoutes
1." Trust the machine to deliver a precise cut, thats the way it was built. Don't trust yourself" Truer words were never spoken!!
2. "Craftsmanship is more a state of mind than state of shop, but the Smith helps"
3. My personal favorite" If the set up is properly done, the rest is easy"
