They use the same material for 4" Dia. as they do all the way up to 24" Dia. and bigger. They use the same picture as well so getting a refund. I'm leaning towards horse trough for next attempt.

Reading 'specs' (when present) helps prevent that!
That said I cringe when 'specs' tell me what size box it comes in and little else useful.

Wow, the custom bench and tool storage features here are really impressive! Then I saw your pristine Mark VII with its own wood accents in the background, and was further impressed! Great work…

Re: 10ER Lathe dust collection and leather skirt
JPG- only spec was Dia. + pic, I should have called as I ended up calling to get a refund anyway. Waste of time but I’m retired so that’s something I hope I have plenty of.
jpdalton- thanks for the kind words
Up skirt and down skirt pics + pic of pretty sturdy watering bucket, 2’ Dia., I hope to make into dust shroud

More sturdy == harder to modify == better results.
In addition to having 'more' time, acquiring 'more patience' helps one's mind set.

Patience is very much a learning process for me but I agree with you.

Got everything cut and it came out really clean, gorilla taped edges till rubber gas line comes in. Used a nibbles to cut out bottom and a Kett saw for horizontal cuts. Both worked really well with right set up. Still need to work out mounting and dust port locations.

Re: 10ER Lathe dust collection and leather skirt
Finished up dust shroud and trying to figure out best port locations. I have one on top to hopefully keep the finer dust away from me. Thinking of just a 4” hose and a smaller “big gulp” at bottom. My thinking is it would catch a lot at position shown + easy to move around once in awhile similar to vacuum or a better location than shown. Look forward to any comments or ideas.
